Drug repositioning can be summarized as the determination of new therapeutic effects of an existing medicine in order to be used in the treatment of a different disease. Gene expression based pharmaceuticals search tool (geneXpharma) is a web-accessible and free platform within user friendly interface that provides statistically evaluated gene expressions and their drug interactions for 48 diseases under the seven different disease categories. geneXpharma is organized to facilitate creating or testing the hypothesis inside the disease-gene-drug triangle.
